coming out of retirement for a second.

A riddle: if OLP makes an album and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

How in this day and age where music (both good and horrible) is being made everyday by so many people is someone like Teedus still extremely obsessed with this band? It ...

First, it's Yonge

Really, there's no reason to go east of Yonge unless you want to hit the church/Wellesley village (my guess is you don't swing that way) or St Lawrence (which is just east of Union station on Front St.). Some shady streets like Jarvis, Sherbourne and Parliament should probably ...

I'll gladly tear apart religion. However, this issue has little to do with freedom of speech in my opinion simply because the owners and operators of a private tv station should be allowed to air what they want. If Kathy Griffin was in public and was arrested for saying something, then that's ...

Hey Matt,

Things here are good. My girlfriend and I have a place in downtown Toronto right in front of the Skydome/CN Tower, and I just finished a 2 month stint working for the Ontario Government, so now I'm back to being unemployed.

Congrats by the way on your upcoming wedding.

The album is great. It's probably the most emotional album I own, which is weird because I don't know the guy. It certainly doesn't make me cry but the imagery is just so vivid in many of the songs it's hard not to feel like you know Matt.

I think The Boy Come Home and Metal Airplanes are my two ...

I'm coming out of the woodworks to reply to this...

I honestly think it would completely trivialize the position of President if an impeachment process were to go ahead. Is it going to become a common occurance for the president to have to fight impeachment at the end of his second term as more ...

In all fairness, Ovechkin apologized and said he didn't mean for it to happen. Due to the speed of the game things like that happen. Obviously no one condones hitting from behind, and something serious could have happened from it (and thankfully it didn't) but I don't think one hit is any reason to ...

odds are it was just some guy who was given the masters and told to add something to each track. This to me would seem to be the case if the changes mentioned so far are true, because they're rather minute, and the band doesn't need to be brought into the studio for them.

as much as I said "when" above, I really have to disagree that Canada usually isn't too far behind the USA. I think if we look at the measures taken by the US with regards to the Patriot Act, other anti-terrorism legislation and the Military Commissions Act, it would be quite the stretch to find ...

I dunno, the official story is complete bull crap to me, 9/11 they had practice exercises happening for the same scenario, 7/7 they had almost exactly the same practice scenarios as what happened that day. The chances of that actually happening ever, but yet happening with in a couple years of each ...

Well Rumsfeld was the chair of a company that was given the contract to build soft-water nuclear reactors in N. Korea... which can be converted to create nuclear arms. Rather than saying "sold weapons" I probably should have said "sold materials that made developing weapons possible." My bad.

but ...
