Festivals, I would think for most bands, means that you are going to have to go with your known material to maintain the crowds interest. Headlining shows, should have a core fan base and your casual listeners, or maybe fans who have seen the band live in the past. Those shows you can pull out your ...

I generally don't like 71 minute albums. But then, who is making 71 minute albums? Unless you're an instrumental post-rock band, chances are you are not. 45 has always been the way to go to me, and anything less than 35 can teeter on being too slim unless we're talking about an EP.

No, he does. Otherwise he wouldn't have mentioned how U2's was such a failure and not have included that those bands were always failures (again, I'm saying that sort of in jest, as I like Coldplay).

Then you generally overrate albums then.

There's no way a 2.5/5 is a total failure in most ...

If it wasn't for downloading, I wouldn't be into half the bands I am, and buying their albums.

Me, too... including OLP. I can't believe my fandom started with downloading Gravity illegally in 2002. Somehow I still wanted to listen to their older stuff after that.

I kid.

However, I did ...

Plus the reviewer likes Linkin Park. And Coldplay. Although I do actually like most Coldplay material, the fact that the person only listed those bands proves he's nothing more than a modern rock radio station dj. But at he least he knows which OLP album is their best.

And the last review only ...

Even though I said I didn't like the song in my previous post, my only real problem is the chorus. It's dead to me, and the chorus could've really saved this song in my opinion. Instead, it just drags it down.

I'm still looking forward to hearing the album, but now I do feel a bit more ...

So I just listened to... parts of it. And I have nothing really new to add. I didn't like it, that's for sure. It seems like someone just went and castrated the song. People can rip the last two albums all they want and I'll be right there with them for a lot of the harsh words spoken over them. But ...

Don't complain about the album being only 38 minutes long. Some of the best albums I own are under 40 minutes long. Hell, some of the best albums I own are under 35 minutes. I'd say it's only disappointing because it's been so long since their last album that I feel they should have more decent ...

Myspace has become really handy for bands now that you can get updates to when a band updates anything on their page. You don't always have to check their page to get the latest info anymore.

It was quite a surprise to see that they're putting out another album so quickly. I've listened to it a few times, and it's different. Still good though. Just not always typically Lovedruggy.

I guess Michael went on a little tirade about this album leaking, too, and once again I pointed out my ...

With ticket prices probably costing close to $50 per after Ticketmaster's ridiculous charges, I decided not to see them this go-around. Maybe if the supporting acts were better, I would've been up for it. But Tokyo Police Club and Angels and Airwaves? No thanks. If they play anymore Calfornia shows ...

I wonder what the likelihood of them getting it out this year will be? Right now, if they actually finish it in July, we could be looking at an October/November release, I guess. But we all know how many bands say they're almost done and then three months pass and they're still working on songs ...

So does that mean his other band is over now? I'm out of the loop. If they are over...

THANK GOD.

If not, oh well. I'll still go on not listening to them.
