I know no one here would do that because everyone here is great.
I personally really like the album. I am slightly upset that he reused the EP songs, but I think that of the EP songs he did a really good job of taking Earthless (one of the best songs) up a notch by making it more full in a re-master of volume (the hymn behind the chorus is more pronounced and the violin at the end is beautiful) . One Second Chance is the same, but Careful What you Wish For and Sex, Love, Honey have additions to them in music and some lyrics too (he did a lot of volume re-mastering so you can hear once background sounds more clearly which adds to the fullness effect).
Of the new stuff, I think Rat Race is a beautiful example of Raine's ability to blend rhythms and beats into a song like he does in live stuff. Confessional could very well be the biggest hit for Raine in a long, long time. It's just put together so well. China Doll is beautiful, and it really touches your heart. The Snake and the Crown is good too, but it doesn't feel like a song. Every time I hear it, the ending breakdown is what sells me on it. His metaphors in it are pretty simple, but you get it too which is good. It's just a weird song. The Less I Know is a great song, but personally he could have sung it better. Jared Paul is a good addition to the song and I have no problem with him. Chantal makes a lot of appearances in a background kind of why - she fills in behind Raine a lot, but it's not bad. It needs more listens, but I personally think solo Raine is really good. There's a very real, almost creepy vibe to it too which makes you want to pay attention. I think the vibe comes from of his synth-sounding stuff.
Edit: I also call this the LALA cd. Raine sings LALA in like every song at some point.
"I'll never get over you."
