In my opinion Standing On the Shoulder of Giants is probably Oasis' worst album. There's a couple of ok songs on it, but nothing that really stands out. One thing that bothers me about Mr. Rock's production is that he seems to pull for songs to be on the record that quite simply aren't that good, as trys to force them into something they're not.

For example on Gravity, he pulled for OLP to keep working on "Made of Steel" to get that on the record ...

I don't hear how it's overproduced, personally. In fact, to my ears it sounds less produced than some of the older stuff.

Alright I've been listening to HIPT for almost a week now and letting it sink in, because when I Gravity came out I originally HATED it. Then after a week of listening I really got into it.

I heard it live at Edgefest in Buffalo... Raine still couldn't hit the high notes, it sounded like his voice was about to crack...it sounded quite bad in my opinion.
