I hate the books, love the movies.

And I'm sorry, but Aragorn is totally . Greasy-nasty, floating in the water (I've only seen Two Towers EE), not so much at his coronation...but yeah, Viggo on the cover of Vanity Fair=

I have to bring this to the top; I think I'm going for the third time tomorrow. I saw it once NYE and once Friday the 2nd.

I think I was the last person to see a Lord of the Rings movie (I like to read the book before I see the film, and I despise Tolkien), and I used to make fun of my friend for ...

My friend is currently a senior at a school in the midwest, and really wanted to go to U of T med school, but apparently she can't get in anymore.

So, umm, I wish y'all luck ;)

my apartment looks like a hockey game exploded, just because I had to locate my hockey stick, and it's leaning against a pile of stuff.

I'm posting on here cuz I'm an oboe player. It's the second instrument I learned and stuck with. Too bad I can barely play a note anymore. Right now I'm almost literally under piles of string instruments.

And there's lots of stuff I want, but it seems pointless to list it here. OLP DVD is one item.

well, there are a bunch of people related to high-ranking government, such as Perle and Wolfowitz, who are labeled as chickenhawks. I do believe, since Bush was AWOL during his stint in the National Guard, that term also applies to him.

shouldn't you stay with the bird metaphors, like a pro-war person is a hawk, and an anti-war person is a dove?

lI'm allergic to dust, mold, pollen, ragweed, lots of other plants. I'm also allergic to some hairsprays, some perfumes, smoke, and pet dander. Strangely enough, though, I'm not even home enough to keep a fish as a pet. I'm supposedly allergic to penicillin and sulfa, but since I'm exposed to the ...

Everyone in my family lost power except me. That includes my aunts, uncles and grandmother. Thankfully my sister wasn't caught on the subway when the power went out.

I feigned overworrying, but mostly I called everyone to say "ha, I have power and you don't."

Hurricane Gloria was such a letdown...it was in '85 if I remember correctly, and the weather people said it was going to be horrible, and we didn't even lose cable, much less power.

It just rained a lot.

back on April 6, I was watching the Weather Channel and got the Emergency Alert System warning. I freaked out, thinking the city was getting bombed (cuz I'm paranoid like that) and found out the EAS was a thunderstorm warning. I was totally scared anyway.

I only remember the day because I ...
