First off Backstreet Boys SUCK!!! What they remind me of is spoil brat 15 year olds girls who are asses, and have emotional problems. They make me want to throw up. Put the right Bacstreet Boys post in the right thread.

This is the OLP New Single Thread so lets talk about or have fun talking about Our Lady Peace new single that is coming out. Not the awful bitchy music, or the gay Backstreet Boys. I do not care if I sound immature or not.

Well, it wasn't really a joke.........mentioning the Backsteet Boys album in here and sparking a discussion should be considered a no-no on most boards though obviously this one tends to have very slippery rules.

His rant was unneccesary but the guy's right. I think you're just pissed because he shredded those guys....all you had to do was tell him what you were talking about and he wouldn't have gotten frustrated by the irrelevant babble.

The BSB totally fit the title "30 going on 13".

OK, I'm going to try to get back on topic which is the OLP new single.

I E-mail a DJ tonight from a radio station. Basically saying if they know when they can put the new OLP single on the radio.

Well he E-Mailed me back and he said he thinks the 28th. So next week I think its next Tuesday. If they do come out with it next week, I think they will do it later in the day. Like on the "Catch Of The Day" whcih is at 4:45pm edt. or "The People's Choice" and that is at 7pm edt. If its not next week I will expect it to be very soon. Again the DJ still wasn't sure he said "he thinks" so I guess we will just have to wait and see, but that is good news I think. don't blame him or blame me. Its not a sure thing so I wouldn't get my hopes up quite yet.

At this point I do not really care about what new song, from their new album is a single. I just want a new single from them, from their new album.

I'm just saying what I heard and giving my opinion (I like to do that just like everyone else). How was that excitement on what I just said? Am I excited about the new single being out yeah I am. I am controlling myself though.

Lol this thread is getting out of control with the random fighting over nothing. But as for my very late 2 cents on the single, I like it better than the old version of the song. Though the random kids singing is and always will be very lame, in ANY song. I think I actually heard Jeremy do a drum fill or two, and the guitar sounds pretty good. I still do not understand why they insist on having like 8 vocal tracks of Raine singing different harmonies, it certainly doesn't sound "raw" like they originally said it would be, and his voice simply sounds better by itself without unessesary extra vocal accompanyment. At least that's what it sounds like to me. Overall it sounds pretty decent and I'm getting very excited for the album, even if my expectations aren't particularly high. And I have also discovered the amazing aspect of punctuation in my posts, hopefully they are moderately easy to read for those of you whos eyes are badly impaired by the excessive use of dashes.
