Bleh, live videos bore me. I want something more like... um... I dunno. Not live. SOT is the only video of theirs that really just bored me.

Hmm... I guess I meant to say "performance" rather than "live"... like Automatic Flowers or the US version of Superman's Dead without clowns.

Waiting to Exist wrote:Probably... I don't know anything about the music industry, but it seems smart, if you're their going to release a single much earlier than an album, to release a video shortly after so that the band stays in the public eye.

But that's just my crazy idea.

Actually if a band wants to stay in the limelight lonmger it's better to release the video a month or so after releasing the single. By then the single will have been (over)played on radio and the video channels will play it non-stop because it's new to them.

The type of music video that I think is/willl be cool. Is a music video that kind of goes a long to a story. Like, look at The Used "All That I've Got" music video I like that one. I also, like Unwrittens Law "Save Me" music video. A good music video is Nickelback "Someday", and "Too Bad". These videos always have a story with it. I think I will like to see this from OLP.

I thought "Someday" was a laughable video........that girl seemed pretty happy to end it all just to see her probably just as death prone boyfriend again......

I think the new video should feature CMers and hubbers.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Me neither, but the 20th sounds like a good time to release it. Just over a month before the new album, with enough time to release a video before it comes out. Sounds like a plan.

Isn't that site that gives out information claiming the 28th? (and by this I quite clearly mean riche and shelly's)

I think that if it was coming out on the 20th, we would have heard some news from OLP.com. It's less than a week away, they'd want to hype it up among the OLP community.
