yeah, they let some kid in the crowd just go up and play the 2nd half of 'this time of year'...at that point i wished i knew how to play guitar

Green Day did it when I saw them. The kid said he knew how to play guitar but when he got on stage, he had no clue. It made me mad.

yeah, green day got a guy to play guitar, one to play drums, and one to play bass. that was one of the coolest things ive seen at a show...and billie joe gave the kid his guitar cause he kicked ass

My friend got to go up and play w/ Green day when they did that here. Billy Joel gave him his guitar too, supposively the one hes had for a long time according to the groupie, thought I doubt it. Still very cool, a guitar that costs around a 1000 and the oppurtunity to do that.
