Thanks Al :)

and defying gravity shove it sweetie. :) Mike and Joe put alot of work in it. As did all the poeple who guested on it. The NEW cd will be out in Febuary. This was something for the fans to say thanks. Its no different than a live album (which would make 99% of OLP's fans shit themselves)

It was priced fairly low and ALL the tracks are for download on various places on the web and linkin park probably could care less:)

"We support the free trade of music, go ahead and download that shit!"-Mike Shinoda Emcee of LP

(by the way there were a few songs that werent on hybrid theory like my december and high voltage)

the remix cd is awsome and I usually HATE remixes.

Calm down. The CD was released at £13.99 in the UK according to HMV which means it wasn't at a cut-price.

Oh well sweetie :)

Can't stand Linkin Park, sorry.

I liked them a little, but I had a friend who pretty much ruined them for me. And now I'm just sick of hearing about how "great" they're supposed to be.

Sorry.

That would be Green Day, for releasing a Greatest Hits CD, then releasing a Rarities CD.

but come on green day have had like 6 albums and linkin park has had one. I was supposed to see them in concert but thankfully i sold them for twice the purchase price!! yea lets take a bunch of bad rappers and make them sing our songs.

im upset jay gordon went to such lows to make that horrible remix with that incredibly pointless video.

LOL @primetimefool I am NOT vicious. I just get annoyed with people who go into a thread and bash a band. If the topic was Linkin Park sucks thats one thing.

and I bought my remix cd for 13 bucks, most cds are 18.99 here. I didn't but it the first week. The first week it was like 10 bucks or something at best buy.

and as for the deftones cover its awsome. Say what you want about the band, their integridy ect but Chester Bennington has an amazing voice.

and NIN released a remix album are they lazy? LP is working their butts off with the new cd and they worked hard on the remix cd. They never said heres are new cd. No one holds a gun to your head and says buy it. They said hears a bonus for the from the band. Hpe ya like it.

They've been touring non-stop since they relesed Hybrid theory and thats not lazy.

Personally I hated LP when they got all famous cos I assumed they must suck but I listened to the cd and really started to like it. I went and got their ep stuff and demos adn heck i like that stuff even more.

They stay out for ever after shows to talk to fans and Ive not heard of anyone having a bad experiance. (unlike some bands who shall remain unnamed that only come out for 5 miniutes and dont bother to even ask your name asside for the new guitarist)

I listen to lp more than olp now actually. If they hadn't sold over 8million cds I bet more people that 'hate' them would say they were great.

But how many albums did they release before those. They're a pretty well established band.

I never said you could abreviate my name primtimfl.

Not for me.

I think they're really kind of cheesy.

The fact that most of their songs are 80% rap is pretty annoying.

I used to like them, a lot. Then I lost respect for them when they came out with the remix cd. When you only have 11-12 songs out there, you shouldn't come out with a remix cd. I feel that a band should have an actual history, rather than one big cd, then redo the cd to "thank the fans?" If they wanted to thank them, they would have given it away for free to people on their street team or something. That is thanking the fans, not charging them $10-15 for a cd we've heard already, with new people singing different parts. Maybe when they come out with something else I will respect them again, but until then....

Exactly. There's nothing wrong with greatest hits style re-releases, but you've got to at least have had more than one album.

I know. If OLP made a greatest hits, it would still be kinda wierd, seeing that they only have 5 albums. But a band like The Rolling Stones or The Beatles, that's understandable. I still think it's pathetic to just scratch some records, but a different beat on a song, and market it as "new songs" and have people waste their money on it.
