I dunno...OLP just doesn't do that for me very much anymore. Maybe because I've severely limited my OLP intake in the last year or so. I went from ONLY OLP (and classical music) to a wider selection of bands.

I still love my OLP, most definitely, but it's just not the same as it was 2 or 3 yrs ago.

OMG. I can't believe I din't think fo you

a scale of one to ten you're like YWELVE.

speaking of SAAG, I've been singing it to myself lately. Enough that my neighbor told me, "You were singing some OLP song yesterday." 'Tis ok, they know I'm crazy. I really do love that song.

for me its always SAAG and OMA
for a long time it was 4AM and Potato Girl, but they've lost the meaning that they once had

Thief always makes me stop whatever I'm doing and just drift off with the song. Which is why it's a bad idea to pop in Happiness when I'm driving.

Life does the same thing occasionally, and Wonderful Future.

For me, it's In Repair, Lying Awake, 4am, and Thief. If I'm listening to any of those, I find myself getting caught up in them.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?

I can totally relate to 4AM. When I actaully listen to the lyrics I was * HOLY SHIT* someone else who feels the way I do. I have told Raine how close to home that song hits to me. He said that is one great thing and why he is a songwriter..

also it's great to see I wasn't the only one getting lost in their songs.

Sure, with the aid of a plane.
But I mean unassisted by any machine. Just kind of floating about.

I haven't been lost in an OLP song since gravity first surfaced and I played sorry over and over and over again. Most recently, my ex-girlfriend suggested the band Jump Little Children and I've listened to the song "Come Out Clean" at least 20 times a day ever since. A strangely upbeat song, with great lyrics.

Well if we can name songs by other bands, it would have to be The Red by Chevelle. I'm so obsessed with that song.

I get lost in their music too much ...
Just yesterday I was listening to Naveed on my head phones and I walked upstairs to get something. Me being the forgetful person I am forgot what I went up their for and ended up just standing in the hallway ... that's when the music took me over .. I shut my eyes and when I opened them my mom was staring at me like I was psycho ... according to her I was dancing like 'a chicken having a bad seizure' ... luckily it was just my mom ... or that could have been very embarrasing

Yeah, I am that kinda person too. Before tennis matches I would listen to OLP or Alkaline Trio, space out, and end up sitting on my ass for an hour. Then I have like 5 minutes to warm up, and I would suck in the beginning of the match. That's why I was never dominant, I was always spacing out.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Well yeah, I would listen on the way there too, but I can space out for long periods of time, just like when I can focus, I am deadly on the courts. OLP probably cost me some tennis scholarships dammit. I should be in Indiana right now playing tennis too, but I turned the school down because Indiana is boring.
