Raine climbed on top of one of the speakers and STAGEDIVED into the crowd. doesn't he have a bad back? man, I wish I could've been one of the people who caught him. *cough*
the last song was 4 AM and he didn't sing it at all. Raine coaxed the entire crowd into singing it for him. he held the mic out toward the audience and we all did a fabulous job. it was a surreal, special moment. the entire band stopped playing and Jer stood up as we finished the last chorus. man, I had a great time.
we hung around after the show to meet the guys, and I'm so glad we did. I got to meet all of them. they were *so* nice! everyone was telling Raine that the show was awesome and he was sincerely thankful for the comments. I grabbed his hand and told him it was one of the absolute best shows I'd ever seen and he squeezed my hand and said "thanks. thanks a lot." I was touched. really. and not in a "my god, this guy is truly gorgeous" kind of way.
oh yeah, I told Jer that everyone here was calling him Pookie. especially this guy named Alan from Detroit.
give me a few minutes to resize the pics of meeting the guys and I'll post them.
