-Sarah

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I'm unimpressed so far. It's just a clip, so I can't really comment on the song as a whole. One thing I did notice is that Raine is singing rather off-key...

And though the hum and sway gets me down

It's really too short for me to form an opinion on it just yet. And don't forget what he said about this song in the chat last week:

Kathy14
What can you tell us about the song “Better Than Here”?
Raine
i love this song...could very well be the blueprint for any future OLP recordings. probably the purest song we have to date. recorded completely live and mixed in a half hour.

ya...u can tell that its live off the floor...but not enough of the song to be able to tell

cant even really tell if its a verse or chorus either
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

Man I remember listening to clips of spiritual machines and being so excited to hear the rest of the album. Now I keep having to try to remember when it comes out. I hate that now. Hope this song is some what good.

Having heard the clip now, I actually want to hear the song now. I like that it is very organic sounding. Raine seems to be more expressive in his vocals and it sounds rich. Kinda like Apology is... live off the floor. I like it so far...

I kinda did. I can see where you felt that way.

Know what.....I think I found my least favorite OLP track outta that one, too. Unless that clip is only a teaser; and not in a good way.

Better Than Here sounds pretty interesting. I like the vibe. Sounds like it could be a pretty kick ass track.

perfect pitch or not, I have ears and a brain with which to process information, and his vocals sound like shit.
