I wish they would have re-recorded some of the songs for this album. After seeing how they changed them for the HIPT tour, I find myself wanting to hear the new renditions of songs like clumsy and superman's dead. I guess it's no big deal but it's alwasy nice to hear something fresh to hold you over until they release their next album. I'm aware that they are putting 2 new songs on the album but having been familiar with Kiss on the Mouth for some time now, 1 new song doesn't seem like enough.

Too bad they aren't releasing a few more b-sides. Also, the dvd that comes along cannot be that great. If it were, it would be a seperate release. I would be nice if they had most of the Massey show on there along with some other footage but, I doubt it. Hopefully, this release will surprise and impress.

The dvd will probably be them all in different locations talking about how "we have evolved as a band" or "I think this is the real olp" and "This is our best tour yet" then splice that with clips of concert footage of about half a chorus of a song, then add more.

The normal "Why did I waste my money on a dolled up mixed cd/dvd"

Sorry if this was covered already, but I didn't see it in the last 3 or 4 pages of this thread...

This DVD that you speak of that comes with A Decade...is it with every copy, or is it a special edition? Amazon.com lists 2 separate versions, but every other site I've checked just lists one. Also, neither one on amazon says anything about a DVD.

I imagine that it's with every one. The 2 seperate listings are for the Canadian release date (11/21), and the US release date (11/28).

I got this from Wikipedia... so take it for what it's worth...

"The disc will include a bonus DVD containing rare live footage of songs such as John Lennon's "Imagine," "Teardrop/Carnival," and the live version of "Kiss On The Mouth" as well as other OLP songs. It will also include interviews with the current band members, and old interviews with past members."
