The Hummer was me, I didn't say I saw him in a Hummer I said that there was someone who looked like him in a Hummer and the licence plate read "Fountain" since then I have learned that Fountainn is not the name of his record company so that theory is dead.

Makes sense.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I'm in.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

Well, it's safe to say that Starseed, Superman's Dead, Clumsy, One Man Army, Life, Somewhere Out There, Innocent, and Angels Losing Sleep will be on the CD. I'd have to assume that 4am and Naveed will be on it. So there's 10 of their songs. They'll put at least two new ones, with one of them likely being Kiss On the Mouth.

So there's 12 songs. Who knows how many others they will put on. Hopefully they do some special stuff, and either make this a 2-disk set, or a dual disk.

Maybe this album will encourage OLP to change their future playists around to have some of these old hits on them. For example, I haven't heard them do Life or Julia live in ages.

I wouldnt be so quick to assume OMA. They seem to forget that Happiness existed.

oooh. Thats good.

Happiness isn't my favorite album by them, but its the only album that I really want to see them play almost every song live.

I don't think they'll play Life in full for a while. They seem to enjoy tacking it onto songs like Naveed, Will The Future Blame Us, and Hope.

Are you saying that Life is some sort of musical leech?

Wait, OLP doesn't play Naveed in its entirety anymore? It's been a while since I've seen them live, so this is news to me. That's just sad.

Well its sad to me that the band that wrote Naveed is writing stuff like Innocent, so really playing parts of it is good enough for me.

Yeah he's right. They said Life in it's entirety. Naveed is often played by itself.

from the news on .net

There is always suspicion around a greatest hits record. "A Decade" has more than it's fair share. First off, Our Lady Peace has been together since 1993 and Naveed was released in 1994. The math is confusing, Do we succumb to numbers and call it " A decade plus 2 or 3 years?" an awkward title that would force countless discussion's regarding it's marketability. Secondly, "Greatest Hits" usually spell disaster for a band. Record companies have historically put them out to cash in on a bands success once they have parted ways with either the label or themselves. are we doomed? i can safely say that "a decade" represents the years between 1995 and 2005 that this band naively stuffed ourselves and our gear into a converted half school bus and traveled the globe. In that time we were able to make 6 full length records, 2 DVD's, a live cd ,start our Summersault festival and somehow survive to be able to reach out to Saul Fox, the infamous man on our first four records, to grace us with his handsome grin one last time. It was Allen Ginsberg who said "art is a community effort." Our Lady Peace has given us all a chance to view the power of music firsthand together with our fans and we could not be more grateful. "A Decade" is a sensible way to close the door on this first chapter. nothing more ,nothing less.

so rather than choose a different name, they decided to ignore the math. Good call.
