And like I told you over MSN, I'm not gonna be getting in until late. Do you think we'll have a problem checking in after like 10pm?

I wouldn't think it would be a problem if you called them up and let them know.

J-Neli wrote:The reason why is because it goes by American speed limits. 55 and 60 mph which are the limits on US highways are sometimes 30-40kmh's lower than what you can do in Canada.

When I use mapquest or google maps simply use the KM's and divide by 120.

Sweet Jesus, I can do more than 65MPH in Canadia?!

if you booked with a credit card you'll be guaranteed for late arrival but you have to call and have them make a note on your reservation just in case.

Yeah, I'm not going to be there on Friday. Is Holly coming in on Saturday or am I the only one? :uh:
And if I don't make it known that
I've loved you all along
Just like sunny days that
We ignore because
We're all dumb and jaded
And I hope to God I figure out
What's wrong

yeah what kathy said. Call them to let them know. I think there are a couple comming Saturday....it will all be good. At this point the airlines are going to make it impossible for Holly to get here. Everyone pray that the draw of the hour (what we refer to the way they come up with fiight costs) goes the right way...just once then it will happen

*crosses fingers for Holly*

Well, I THINK I am booked at the Metro now. I cancelled at the Strathcona, and did a web booking with the Metro.

Only problem is, after I hit the "confirm this booking" button, it went to a blank page and sat there. :(

So, I called them up and asked if they got it and they won't get it for a few hours! So, I have to call back then.

Pedestrian is on at 10pm...playing a 45 min set at the Rivoli...
Then, if anyone else is up for more music...at 11pm a few doors down, Chris Koster is playing at the Horseshoe tavern....

With hotels, I have been fine checking in late as long as u call them and tell them that you will be...I've checked in at midnight on some days...

Were you able to get an early check-in time? The lady I dealt with (Susan) said that she would request it. Notmal check-in is at 3pm!

How on earth am I supposed to know if I got it?

I booked through the website and requested an early check in, but I also made a bunch of other demands (near the CM, 2 beds, non smoking room, turn down service, satin sheets, fridge full of Canadian, diamond-studded toilet paper holder), so I don't know how accomodating they are going to be.

If all goes well, I should be in town fairly earlier Saturday, so if there is any breakfast/pre-concert shopping plans, let me know!

Nikki wants to go to this egg place for breaky and I am suggesting that we head over to Ontario Place earlyish so we can do the mega maze. Admission to the facility is free with your ticket. There are also a few other things to occupy your time..bring your swim suits!! They may not have a mini golf but we should be able to somehow jimmy the pool door so we can have late night shinnanigans. EVERYONE likes shinnanigans :) it will be great to see you two lovely men again..The champagne is cooling!!!!

No. They are strange and scary people. Avoid them at all costs if possible.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Gah! Don't tell me that!

I've only met someone off the net once and let's just say it was a less than pleasant experience.
