Edgefest Hotel Situation- General Itinerary

Hey all

Here is the scoop. I did much research and have found what I believe is the best deals out there. I was going to book 8 rooms but I didnt want to carry the $1400 for all of you. i love you but...well you understand.

Here are the choices ( prices booked through hotels.ca -- the hotel.com prices I believe are slightly higher, if this is the case try using the expedia site for a better price in the US)

The Metropolitain **** ( 4 stars) 141.55 with all taxes $170.86 /night

THIS IS THE HOTEL MOST OF US HAVE BOOKED FOR. IF YOU ARE OKAY WITH THE PRICE READ NO FURTHER.

If you need two beds you have to call the hotel after you have submitted your reservation or reserve directly from then on the phone. Also if you would like to request your room to be near others you will need to call then as request that too. We have done that by last name, ie Edwards, Hains, Warren etc.

Novatel *** (3.5 stars) 159.00 with all taxes $186.83 / night

Days Hotel ** (2.5 Stars) 129.00 with all taxes 150.61/night

I am going to book at the Metro for Friday and Saturday night as is Nikki. I would reccomend that we put in a note in our comment section that we would like a room near other CM members.

I really wish i could just book all the rooms .

I will be there Friday night, two, possibly three people (depending on if my brother can come).
If it's a good deal, we might stay for two nights.

I'd be in for a private room for two for Saturday night. I was thinking of driving back after the show, but I'll probably be tired and besides, what fun is that?

ahhhh i just bought two tickets in section 200 row A....hopefully those are decent seats, i've never been to this venue so i have no idea.

i live in new brunswick, so now i have to pull my stuff together and figure out the cheapest way possible to get there...

my friend who is going with me works for cendant and she gets hotels at a great discount....however she's having trouble getting a discount at a good location as well, seeing on how it's the long weekend. i wasn't really looking for a room, just rambling lol. but since my last post i have since snatched up my plane tickets

I'm looking to arrive in the greater Toronto area Friday evening and head back to Columbus Sunday afternoon so just 1 person for Friday and Saturday night.
