Stupid networks. I wish they'd get a clue.
much usa was bought out by some other company... or city sold its right to some company and it became fuse.. something along those lines
that happened around the same time that most cable companies dropped it haha
now it sucks
cause fuse sucks
although there are rumblings of city making another foray into the american market again with much usa once more

to me downtown makes the most sense... you can get to anywhere pretty easily from the downtown hotel. From the airport you'll have to pretty much taxi it everywhere, or at least taxi it to the closest subway or go train station.
When you split it between two people 150 isn't really that much, especially since you'd be on the main street in Toronto (Yonge St).
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

but I mean in terms of going to the Amp, going to the zoo, wonderland, shopping, and wanting to find places to eat and everything, downtown is her best bet. The closer she is to Union Station the easier it is, in my opinion... It just seems like the airport is too far out of the way especially since Wonderland and the Zoo are on the other side of the city. If she had a car I'd say the airport would be better just because the 401 is right there, but otherwise downtown to me makes more sense, especially since there is a shuttle that takes you from the airport to the Royal York.

Wonderland isn't exactly on the "other side of the city" given that it's just off the 400 which is comparitively closer to the airport than downtown. It's about a 20 min drive versus almost 40 from downtown. But public transportation is the key since they won't have a car.
And I'm not arguing that downtown isn't better... I would stay downtown for sure for the shopping/restaurants, and the fact that all the other CMers are downtown.

I have a two-person room, I don't think my friend that I'm staying with is at all cool with "strangers" staying with us though, otherwise I'd be totally for you sharing with us :\
