Awww...that's really sad.

I had a horse when I was little called Tony the Pony (although he was not in fact a pony). I was very very sad when he died. A horse dying...it's just such a big "pet".

It's the week before finals and I'd rather watch movies than study. Oh boy.

So my pony's gone.

I handed her over to this eager, grinning 13-year old girl and then just started sobbing. The kid didn't know what to do, she looked so guilty or something.

Life's achangin', kiddos.

today i hung out with my friends sister (who i used to be best friends with before she stabbed me in the back and i ended up friends with her brother) that i haven't spoken to in 2 years, and it wasn't awkward.

syntax final is done with, and so are all my other finals.
today consisted of a syntax final, then 6 hours of sitting in the campus bar. i drank a bit too much beer, was a bit too much loud, and had a bit too much fun.

I love my life.

I haven't even been working at my job for a year and I've already got 3 raises.

And my mp3 player has over 30 random music videos about 150 songs and I still have room for another 100 songs or so. <3

don't do it Neil
Promise rings are a waste. Use that money to go towards a real ring when you actually plan to propose. I'm sure if you explained to her that the money spent on this ring could contribute to a better ring when you get engaged she'll happily oblige haha

 Good point......I seriously don't even know if I'd call this a promise ring, anyways.
It's just a little anniversary-type present. We've both agreed that we don't want to talk marriage until we're both finished with school.

I'm not prepared financially, or mentally (for that matter) for a better ring. haha!

Thanks, Sarah. I knew it would merely take a girl's approval. haha! I only wish I could afford at least a 1/2 carat, right now. But I know NOTHING about searching for legit diamonds, for a decent price, 'n all.

You guys are going to be shocked and awed by the speed and such of my courtship and engagement when I get married.

It will be shorter than most of ya'lls engagements.

Seriously, don't listen to these guys. What are you going to do? Just not buy her any presents in the name of saving up for a diamond ring? I don't think she'll see the humour in that. :P

So, in other words, go for the anniversary/"promise" ring.

Don't worry about getting a huge ass dimond or anything like that. Trying to get something materially valuable seems tacky if its for sentimental reasons. Just get something she would find beutiful or has some sentiment behind it. Like take one of her girlfriends shopping with you or something.
