nah, she went by Simone back in the CC and early CM days in order to avoid gender confusion caused by "Alex".

this thread confuses me.

alex is being called simone, and NunoFreak has the same alias icon as sarah used to have, and everyone's making anti-mike comments!

Well, everyone just knew her as Simone, so it wasn't a big deal. That way she wouldn't have to explain to every new person that she is not, in fact, a guy.
