(also, you'll note that I was confused about the first part of your post, since you edited in the extra musical connections 7 minutes after my reply)

EDIT: This part:

I thought she meant 6 degrees in general, not form her chart.

that is different.

I thought she meant 6 degrees in general. Like I can get from Metallica to Korn, but those bands aren't in her chart.

when I thought of bands for her chart I just edited my post instead of doing it again.. do you understand now?

I said that is differnt cause I realized she wanted from her chart. Sorry for the confusion..

man I can connect just from OLP alone. they toured with so many bands..

which reminds me OLP-Matt Cameron( played 2 tracks on SM)-Matt is member of Pearl Jam- some members of PJ played with Members of SOundgarden to form Temple Of The Dog.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

There's actually a website that does this. I don't remember the URL, but I've been there before.

You can basically connect anyone in the music business with anyone else.

I know of one that was posted here a couple of times. But it just tells you what bands have a "similar" sound (plus it's complete BS).

Miles Davis tagged "The Wind Cries Mary" by Hendrix in one of the songs from "In A Silent Way" (I forget which one). Hendrix covered "All Along The Watchtower" by Dylan. Johnny Cash wrote the linar notes to "Nashville Skyline" and also played with Dylan. Willie Nelson, Kris Kristoferson(sp?) and Waylon Jennings played with Cash in the Highwaymen. Willie Nelson did a song with Norah Jones. Norah Jones is Ravi Shankar's daughter. George Harrison produced the album "Chants of India" by Shankar. George Harrison played with Paul, John, and Ringo in the Beatles. John Lennon was married to Yoko Ono. Paul McCartney played with Wings. His wife, Linda McCartney played in Wings. Ben Folds mentioned Linda McCartney in one of his songs. Ben Folds played with Ben Lee and Ben Kweller in The Bens. Ben Kweller played with the band Radish. Ben Kweller toured with Dashboard Confessional. Dashboard Confessional covered R.E.M. and played with Michael Stipe.

That's all I got right now

[09:08:53] <PlasticAss> Raine Maida was in Century Hotel (2001) with Mia Kirshner. Mia Kirshner was in Murder in the First (1995) with Kevin Bacon.

And, Robbo... no, it was a different site.

Did you see it? I didn't. It sounded like a neat premise, but I haven't heard a single positive review of it.

Most of it, anyway. Raine and Chantal's scenes were actually some of the best in the movie... the storyline was neat. I liked one of the others, too. But aside from that... ugh. Horrible.

And I will always feel uncomfortable watching "that scene" of Raine's. 8O

Maynard did a duet with David Bowie who had a song remixed by Trent Reznor.

Reznor = NIN where Jeordie White is currently playing. White used to be a member of Marilyn Manson, also, he dated Jessika of Jack Off Jill who now is a member of scarling.

Reznor also sang with 1000 Homo DJs which was a project that belonged to Al Jorgenson (sp?) the man behind Ministry.

The Dresden Dolls opened for NIN, NIN opened for Skinny Puppy, and cEvin Key from Skinny Puppy + Edward Ka-Speel from the Legendary Pink Dots = The Tear Garden

I really didn't care for it. I thought it was too dark. Not the story, but the actual movie. Didn't they have lights there.

It aslo was a bit much to believe. Come on. If Silvio( the hotel guy) was alive inthe 20's he be about 80 or 90 not 60 like they make that guy to be.. But you have to suspend belief with this movie.

I can't believe I actually remember the stories.. Wasn't it room 820/420 or somethign like that.. I am alsmot tempted to toss it on tonight for a laugh..

But I am not going to do that.
