Another OLP CD before next summer?

Not Afraid is an excellent song, the live version at the Junos was beautiful, the studio was just a ting better. I don't think we'll be seeing it again...I mean, it did come out officailly on a CD and everything (The Labatt Summer Thing) so...don't be hoping.

Screw the album. they should just start releasing songs in packages of beer. Who knows, the beer probably has a positive effect on the music.

I don't believe HIPT are the 12 best songs they recorded in the past few years. What I think it is is the 12 best that fit together lyricly and stuff. They probably have a few more brilliant tunes that they are just dying to get out there that we'll see on the next record.

I feel that Vampires would have been one of the strongest songs on HIPT.....it was pretty rockin.

Not Afraid CAN still be reworked into a rock song instead of the poppy version they released. If they made it a little harder and changed the lyrics into something thoughtful it would be excellent. If it turned out good why not release it.

I hope they release a harder rock album next time. I'm just guessing, but a lot of songs they didn't release were faster and harder. Like Talk is Cheap, Hit the Wall, Not Afraid (originally), and Vampires.

thats not necesarrily true, as raine already said.. the ones on HIPT go together better, he has said that there were some fantastic songs that just didn't go with the rest of the "novel" of HIPT.

I dont like it at all, but oh well. Im looking forward to this next album, there were so many good songs we heard that have the potential to be great on an album, if they do make a new record, vampires has to be on it it.

Until then, weve got a new single, and a new video coming out.

2 things about that article. I doubt Raine really cares about Kayne, I think that maybe he's just following a fad thing... like his damn bracelets! Ugh, they piss me off. Secondly, I found it odd that Steve was answering questions about past albums when he's only done half an OLP album before HIPT... I didn't like that article at all, It just seemed weird.

that would make Raine shallower then a teenybopper at a Backstreet Boys concert. I'm pretty sure the guy is comfortable saying what he likes and doesn't........regardless if people understand it.

Haha. Trust me, Raine is not the type to say he lieks Kanye because it is a fad.

Raine is a smart guy, he wears the breacelts because of the message. Raine feels strongly about not being false.

I've been saying the whole time as soon as I found out how much they had recorded that they'll probably just release another album with similar sounding/themed tracks as a new album. Less work for them.

I thought that was odd, too. I also thought it was strange that Steve talked so much considering he never ever does in interviews. I'm thinking they labelled stuff that Raine actually said as Steve by accident.
