This is definitly not Gravity 2, its great so far, I think it was worth the 1165 days they spent, they truly came out with a good product.

Exactly. It was actually worth the wait.

Love & Trust is one of the best songs OLP has ever put out. I would be extremely happy if it became the next single.

At this point if I were to rate the songs from best to worst it would be:

1. Love & Trust
2. Apology
3. Will The Future Blame Us
4. Boy
5. Wipe That Smile Off Your Face
6. Picture
7. Angels Losing Sleep
8. Walking in Circles
9. The World On a String
10. Al Genina
11. Don't Stop
12. Where Are You

Everyone keeps saying how Al Genina is so great, personally i dont see whats so great about it other than the lyrics.

HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF GOD THIS ALBUM IS AMAZING.

OK, now that THAT's out of my system...

Jay, I was coming on the CM to start this EXACT same thread. ^5 for thinking alike. Mine was gonna have a poll, though. "Was it worth waiting?" The options would've been "yes", "no", and "I suck and didn't wait".

Anyway... there's absolutely nothing like bringing it home and listening to it the first time really loud in beautiful Dolby surround sound. I was only planning on listening once downstairs, but I couldn't stop myself from listening twice. The second time, I turned it up so loud that things were falling off the walls and tables. I'm not even joking. So, I think I can safely say that my entire neighborhood has now heard HIPT. Hope they liked it as much as I did!!!

I'd go into detail about what I like and don't like... but I can safely say I like every track on it. Oh man I'm giddy. I haven't been this excited/happy about an album since buying Oasis' "Be Here Now" the day it came out (my first anticipated cd release).

:nana: *listens to album for a third time*

I wonder if I'll ever be able to stop myself from listening to the cd side and put on the DVD?

I'm so glad I waited until they intended for it to be released. It makes it that much sweeter.

I can't say i dislike one single song on the whole cd so far. This coming from a girl about to hang up her OLP Fan Status for Good!

I'm so impressed
I'm so happy :D

Nikki, my thoughts exactly :D

EDIT: I don't think words can express how much I love the Walking in Circles guitar interlude. And the "and more and more and more and more..." part reminds me very much of the "is gone" part in Naveed.

Damn this is a good cd.

This album is freaking incredible, if you ask me. I listened to it twice, and after waiting for the thing to be released and not giving into the temptation of downloading it early, I'm feeling good about my decision. Wipe Your Smile is my favorite thus far, though I still seem to be singing Where Are You everywhere I go. Walking in Circles is also cool, though I liked it better the first time I heard it live. Angels/Losing/Sleep and Love and Trust are awesome. The vibe of the album is just incredible. I'm in awe. These guys are my favorite band. Have been for a long time. Number 1.

And I also bought the DVD after a year of waiting for it to be release in the US. Best live DVD I've ever seen (close 2nd to Better Than Ezra and 3rd to the various Dave Matthews DVDs). Great energy, great camera angles.

I'm also really really really happy with myself for not downloading it early. It was so great to just sit in my room with my eyes closed and my headphones in, listening to an actual cd, and getting the whole experience.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention! They were playing the cd at Tower Records when I went in to buy it! That made me happy. :D

Very good album.

I must admit that everyone's tone has changed a lot from two months ago. Back after the first single was released we were are thinking that this album would be terrible (I'm glad to admit that we were wrong :D ).

When the song clips were on the CC I remember over analyzng each one and dismissing half of them as total crap. Then I hear the full versions of a few of them and I love them. I guess I just had to train myself that it was OK to like Bob Rock-produced music.

But I still hate Metallica.
