just out of curiosity, all of u guys that got the album already- are u going to actually buy it when it will be released? i mean i can understand that it's impossible to wait and i got the cd myself but i also ordered it so i'll get a real copy on august 30 and i think whoever's not doing this is truly not a fan.

my least fav btw is probably "boy" so far, and i don't understand how can u not LOVE where are u... it's really good in my opinion.

As I've probably said about 20 times, I'm buying the dualdisc, the dvd (since that's coming out 8-30 here too), and, if I have any money left, the regular one as a backup to the dualdisc in case I scratch it or something (let alone I don't wanna risk bringing the dualdisc to school to listen to during study hall & the bus ride).

I dont love it. More then likely because its pretty weak in comparison to the rest of the album, and to OLP in general.

But its definitly not a bad song.

don't see where's the problem here. i meant that if u get urself the album in an illegal way and not at least buying it in addition- then ur not a real fan.

Oh, I see. I can understand that, I suppose. I thought you meant if you ordered the album but didn't intend to buy a second copy.

The best song by far on the album is "will the future blame us now" but if they had included "Not affriad" that would surely be top me canny believe they removed it----- anyway wot is the dualistic album????/

I am not a big fan of Where Are You, Don't Stop, and Walking In Circles.

One thing I have noticed, however, is that the weak songs on this album are at least listenable for a few reasons.

WAY? is a weak song, but if played loud it's actually kinda fun.

DS is cool at parts because Steve is all over the fucking place on it.

WIC has the cool vocal effects, and some nice guitar and bass work.

I think WAY? is actually the only song that is universally not really liked around these parts... I've seen people that love Don't Stop and Walking In Circles.

By the same token, I like World on a String but a lot of people can't stand it.

A diverse album.

WAY is my least fave by far, followed by Don't Stop (though i like the breakdown and steve's solo). Picture kind of bores me, not too bad though.

Don't Stop was my least favorite of the promosquad clips. But after listening to Raine's explanation of it and then listening to the full version, it definately exceeded my expectations. Now I can't get it out of my head...

I thought he was talking about Al Genina, not Don't Stop

:uh: Does a real fan be selfish and download the whole album before its set to be released? And by the looks of this thread, awhile before release? A "Real Fan" Would respect the bands right to release THEIR art when they want to. Contrary to what you might think, they make music for themselves, not selfish fans, and its their right as to when it can be revealed to the world, and not a second sooner.

Ya your right, Im sure the band doesnt appreciate people hearing it before the release date, its better for them that way.
