background: my socials/english/comparative civ/liberrie teacher plays trivial pursuit at the end of each and every single one of his classes. it's his thing that he does.
Mr. Jarvis: "the next question is... what Japanese car dealership's name directly translates into 'Three Diamonds'?"
student: 'Subaru!'
jarvis: 'no.'
student: 'suzuki!'
jarvis: 'no.'
student: 'toyota!'
jarvis: 'no.
students (just yelling out random companies): 'ford! honda! hyundai! mercedes! porsche! lamborghini! c-smart! citroen! samsung! nokia!'
jarvis (almost to the point of crying): 'nooooooooooooooo...! you guys don't know your CARS... " *puts away card while shaking head, looking somewhat disappointed*
some kid: 'well, what's the answer?'
jarvis: 'i would have thought the words "japanese" and "three diamonds" would have given it away. it's mitsubishi."
students: "Ohhhh...!"
