Just a note on the recording of Sleeping In.... it comes from Stacy prior to her association with Coalition Ent.

She knew about a drum clinic where Jeremy would be performing and she wanted to tape Jeremy's performance. Lucky for her, Jer whipped out Sleeping In to demonstrate his percussive prowess. Stace hit record and shared it with Kate (now webmaster of http://anti-industry.com) and it wangled its way onto cyberspace from there.

As far as I know the source is an omni-mic in a room full of people straight to casette. Not the stuff of high fidelity to be generous, but it was something new before we had heard the new stuff at Woodstock 99.

Bloom (by Raine) was published in the fall '98 PPU newsletter.

Sleeping In (by Raine) was in the X-mas '98 newsletter ("it is actually a song, but is not included on Happiness").

Been Thinking Lately (by Mike) was a poem written for the Spring '99 issue.

So there ya go.

I actually have those newsleters. The X-mas newsletter was teh one that actually came with the X-mas greetings on vidoe and Saul doing the Our Lady Peace poem which they used on the Clumsy tour.. WOW Memories..

Yes, I should have been more careful in my wording.

I don't know who initially made it available other than to say I knew of the tape's existence shortly after Stace made the recording. Not that it really matters who posted it anyway, but I shouldn't imply that Kate/Julie had anything to do with it. She's known for keeping things in good confidence.

It's one of the few unreleased OLP songs we can confirm exists.
