linkin park - were not good enough to make anything new so we will take the songs we have done and change them a bit then put out a new cd of it and make money off the stupid people who actually buy it (also labled, reanimation)

Rufus Wainwright wrote:I just think Linkin Park is scared of failing with their second cd. That's all it could be. It's hard to follow something that went 8x platinum (or in Canadian lingo, diamond) and if they don't outsell Hybrid Theory, it will be considered a commercial failure. It's still no excuse to Jennifer Lopez their music and make them sound like jackasses, but they are under a lot of pressure with the new cd.

Yeah, and Meteora was crap compared to Hybrid Theory. Now they have a fanbase and any CD is going to sell....but all their music sounds the same. I'd easily call their second "real" CD a bomb in my opinion....if that is what you were getting at.

I was getting at they obviously did not produce a bomb, chartwise.

I like linkin park for non musical reasons :freak:

I get into this crazy meditative zone if I listen to the first one chronologically, and there's this crazy ninja matrixy story. Yep. I'm weirdly wired.

I used to love Linkin park and hate when people said stuff like that, but really, i now know that they aren't that great. I like listening to some of their songs, but really, on a scale from eeeeeewwwwwww to OMG AWESOME! I give it a meh.

They're "ok".....and that's about it.

I loved "One Step Closer" when I first heard it, bought it the week it came out at Target for 7.99 on the debut rack, and then listened to the rest of it and thought...

Wusses.......
