Everyone has their own reasons. For me, it started out in early high school where everyone was doing it for the wrong reasons and started being pressured into it, more than they wanted to actually do it at that time.

I, however, wanted different things. I didn't need alcohol to have a good time and a lot of people saw that.

Another reason, and the main reason right now is, while most people enjoyed drinking, I've always been huge into athletics and health. So even though all my friends who also played on the same sports teams as I did would go to parties friday night. I'd end up going to the gym to work out etc...

There were times where I was a little over obsessed with health in high school, where I'd have football practice from 3:30-7:00 at night and then still go to the gym and the pool after the most grueling 3 and a half hours of physical torture I've ever been through, but I was in the best shape and best health of my life!

Another thing I did was watch a lot of movies. When you're sore and can't move much, what else is there to do anyway? I'm kinda obsessed with movies, so when people would go out partying, I'd usually go to a movie with other friends who didn't want to drink that night or somethin like that... Or even sit at home like a loner and rent them! Wooo!

And the same reason holds true for me today. I've never really needed alcohol, so I don't drink.

I still have all the same friends, they still do the same things and so do I, everyone just kind of accepts it now.

My vote is to go see the movie Envy with Ben Stiller and Jack Black.

That's what I want to do anyway.

I think I'm also going to do some filming later on this evening to wrap up a few scenes for the Cop show my friends and I are working on.

If you don't have a camera or friends that want to film a cop show, you could always find females and film a por... oops, I misspelled that, I meant Poor people documentary where you go around and ask homeless people how they ended up on the streets...

actually, I don't know why you'd want girls to go and do that with you... I'm sure you can think of something better to do if you're hanging out with a group of the female gender. :heythere:

There are probably a few ways. If you're failing miserably with no chance to even pull off a mark just above passing, then what you should do is talk to your teacher and see if there's anything you can do to bring your grade up enough to pass, like a make up or make up assignments etc...

Another thing, that we had, and I'm not sure if you have is a Supplementary exam, where at the end of the school year, you can take an exam for all the material of that course, and whatever you get on the exam, will be your final grade in that class.

I did this for history because I hated my history teacher and he hated me and said that no matter what I do, he was going to fail me. So, I just wrote the exam and kicked his add by doing really well.

If you don't have either of those options and can work really hard the old fashioned way to bring your mark up to a passing grade, then do that. It's the toughest, but most rewarding. Besides, if you have to take the whole course again, you'll regret it!

Well keep the grade as high as you can then, it should help bring up your average a bit, depending on your other classes.

You'd have to be in Regina Johnny. Because unless we end up filming some on our road trip this summer, pretty much all of it will be filmed here.

I didn't mean it like that. I just thought my plan was probably like .01% better. To be honest, I think people might benefit more from following your plan than mine.

Mine's just kick ass, that's all.

aww, that's so sweet of you.

of course, i didn't think you meant in a bad way to begin with.

I found out why I got deported. My name, "Raffia Ahmed" matched up with a "Raffi Ahmed" on the FBI watch list.

Not at all! Except your belief that Mr. Dressup was actually Commissioner Gordon on the old Batman series... If they found out that you thought that, they might not let you cross the border...

I doubt it was that though, the world is just stupid right now. Who knows when it will smarten up!

Are they going to let you cross the border now that you know or they know that your name isn't the same as the terrorists?

Well first of all you'to realize it's a Tournament, and not a turniment. JK

You could go tonight and get some practice considering it's friday and there will be bowling lanes open. If not, you can just wing it tomorrow and win on pure and natural skill. Rusty or not!

"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

I'd say tackle a writer until he's injured on the ground, then he won't be blocking you and you can pass. This will also help you to write easier with less trouble.

Overcome the writer. Not necessarily in you.

Think about it.

Ahhhh, you bought the stuff in the brown bottle.

The company doesn't advertise it's multi-scented sunscreen products, but haven't you ever wondered why there are 15 different colours of bottles for the exact same sunscreen?

You unfortunately picked the poo scented kind...
