I dont know about down in texas, but in BC you cannot drive with a blood alchohol level at all. You can get arrested for DUI, and charged. Perhaps you can hold back more than a few, and i dont doubt it from the way you've been talking, but it is against the law. and just because you havent had an accident YET doesnt mean you wont or that it's ok.

That's just if you have your N, I'm pretty sure. .8 is for everyone else. Oh the irony that Campell got arrested for that

Renow, as far as I can tell, you're saying that drinking is ok, but drinking and driving is bad, and pot is always bad, and even worse while driving.

I think we both agree on one thing: Driving under the influence

This seems to be based on your belief that pot users are losers and people that drink with friends are just having a good time. This is where I have a problem. There's such a feeling of pride that comes along with drinking, because it's what all the cool kids do. There should be the same stigma associated with alcohol instead of honour for getting as drunk as possible. You seem to think all people that drink socially are in perfect control and arent using it as any means to cover any problems. Not nessicarily true. Alcohol take away inhibitions. Also, not everyone that does pot is trying to 'escape from their problems'. Just as an example, my brother and his friends are probably the biggest potheads ever. They also drink like madmen. All of them are crazily happy. They're not trying to escape from anything, just have a good time.

*gives the deep analyzing look*

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

well, no not all pot users are losers, and not everyone who drinks is just having a good time. pot and alcohol abusers, people who use their habbits as answers to their problems, are losers. i dislike the raging alcoholic just as bad as the constantly stoned guy. the only problem i have with the ocasional toker, is that in a few cases, it comes from the same people who kill in mexico. almost everyone of them doesn't know, or doesn't care what their demand is creating somewhere else. you never hear about the killings on the news, you never see the corruption that the border creates, or how devestating it is to the youth along the border of the worlds largest consumer of pot (US) and the worlds largest producer of pot.(Mex.) do you really want to be known by such titles?

and i'll end my discussion on these final notes. everything said about drinking, can be said about smoking pot. and vice versa. there's some remote good, and alot of bad issues in using both products. for some reason everytime a pot debate starts, i for some reason have to defend alcohol, and instead of pointing out the issues with pot, it becomes this drinking vs smoking debate. that's not my point, my point is pot is bad. yeah, drinking is too, ok, fine, but some politicians some time back caved in and made it legal.

so why do you want our so called leaders to cave in and allow another substance to become legal, when it's much harder to regulate, and easier to create? it will become the same thing as alcohol, you'll still have minors getting it, you will have more driving incidents, people are going to abuse it, and you will create a new underground market for more potent/cheeper pot. i'll still have killers, and trafficers driving through my city, and the only thing the locals will do is stop the trucks with the money so they can pocket it, leaving some desperate son of a bitch looking for a way to make fast money by any means necessary. people were still being arested for bootlegging 6 years after prohabition ended. making drinking legal was not the answer back then, just as making pot legal isn't the answer today.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.
