Lando wrote:carnival_7 wrote:is it possible for me to ever be as cool as you?
Chances are you are already cooler than me. Depending on how hot you are.![]()
By hot I don't mean your looks. I'm not that shallow of a person unless I'm floating in the kiddie pool at the local aquatic centre.
If you live in alaska or somewhere that's colder than here in the summer, then yes, you are definitely cooler than me. Air conditioning can also apply to this, as I do not have this luxury of such things, I am always hot. Yesterday, where I live was actually Canada's hot spot. So yesterday you were definitely cooler than me. Providing you live in Canada.
If you live in a really hot place, or don't have air conditioning and you are really concerned about being cooler than me, then you have 3 options. Move to somewhere cooler, get air conditioning, or lock yourself in the local grocery stores meat freezer.

LIAM wrote:Lando, are you single, and od you date younger guys?i'm not looking for an answer i just wanted to say it...
Sorry Liam, Like Nikki said, there's more here than meets the eye... Well she didn't exactly say that, but I may have incorrectly interpreted what she said and made it into what I want it to be. SO BACK OFF!
Anyway...
I'm sorry, I only date older guys. There's just something sexy about a man like Charles Bronson, or Matlock.... er uh... Andy Griffith. Unfortunately good ol' Charlie passed away. I heard Mr. Googely eyes Don Knotts may have passed on too. It's a shame. He wasn't the Shakiest Gun In the West for nothing. Anyway, I'm sure you'll find an older guy like Jimmy Smitts or Denis Franz someday.
Yeah, I read your diary.
Don't be ashamed.
ps: Spandex isn't that bad.

carnival_7 wrote:Lando, why does Liam want to date you?
Okay this one's easy.
Some people, like Liam for instance, can't really live happily alone. They always need someone there. They kind of rely on it. Liam was taken away from his litter at a young age and placed into a shop. When you're in the window and only cost 20 dollars, it can really bring down your self respect/esteem, your confidence and your Independent nature.
I'm not saying these are all factors to why Liam wants to date me, but one of them could be.
Also, these types of people try to attach themselves to the sexiest person they know, before that person isn't available anymore.
In Liam's case, he doesn't know a lot of people.
You read that last part and were like "Uh.... did he just put himself down? By insinuating that he isn't the sexiest human being on earth?"
The answer is no. I just wanted to say that, so I could follow up with the part where I quoted what you'd be thinking, where you're all somewhat puzzled and wondering why I put myself down.
Looks like the jokes on you.
So anyway, like I was saying, Liam doesn't know a lot of people... (insert continuation here) However he's lucky enough to know me. The sexiest man alive.
Now I ask you. (you don't need to respond, I already know your answer.) Can you blame him for wanting to date me?

As you can see, no one said "I don't."
And judging by your little emotion-y like guy, you already knew the answer.
So I'm really explaining this for no reason.
Other than I like to look at the letters as they magically appear on the screen when I hit these... K-E-Y-S...
WOW NEATO!

No no no, don't worry. It's winter now, and I'm pretty sure you live in the prairies of Alberta. So we've had some nice weather here. If you've had some cold days, chances are you may have been cooler than me for a while.
Yes, I know, you're shocked, but just remember TO BREATHE and everything will be okay.
But seriously. If you practice enough at like the geetars and the twangers and banjos and whatnot, all those things that yous kids are into these days. You'll surely be more hip, radical, bodacious, tubular, gnarly and a whole lot of other far out groovy things that I won't ever achieve.
I only have 3 legs, so that why I won't achieve as much... It's okay though... oh wait... that one's not a leg... just go back to the part where I was saying you'll achieve stuff... yeah forget about what you're reading right now. Good. Well done. Just Swell.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Lando,
Who's cooler: Buffy The Vampire Slayer, or Shredder from the Ninja Turtles?
Also, who'd win in a fight between the two?

"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

Usually it's cool to give them some home made baking. People always appreciate that! If not you could go with the standard thank you card, but you can't eat those.... so people usually just give the "fake" thank you. If you give a card with baking, then all of a sudden they like the card too!!!
It's weird how the world works.
Another option is you could give them a ferret or perhaps a mountain goat.
Why?
I don't know, maybe because they don't have one!

Lando. You are too much of a genius for words.
But unfortunately I am psychic and already gave them some homemade cookies at christmas.
I also know that they once had a Mountain goat that died in a tragic drilling accident so any sort of animal of that sort would just bring up bad memories. poor charlie...he never saw it comming.
So Lando, should I stick with baking something again, or find something different and better?

I guess that depends on if they liked your baking or not!!! JK
Okay, the only other thing I could think of would be to give them something that would always remind them of you. Something that's reflective of your personality. So when they look at it, it immediately makes them remember something funny, or enjoyable about you.
Also, it depends on where your work placement was. What type of work it was. You could give them something that has to do with the type of job, or something they could use there...
Maybe a picture of their mountain goat to put on the wall? To decorate the place! At least they could have fond memories of how great of a goat he was.
Mr. Goat, I salute you!
