supermans dead. everyone knows that song. its just classic olp. even if you've never heard of the band, you've heard that song. sot too i guess, but if you didnt really know the band, it would just melt into all the other top 40 alt-rock hits.

You know, I think I want to change mine.

OLP won't be remembered for any one song. Even the people at my school who sort of like OLP know about the singles from the first albums.

For example, a conversation in Bio:

[Matt and I were talking about religion]
Matt: So why is there a buddha on the back of your shirt (I was wearing my OLP shirt)?
Me: Because it's from the Naveed era. I think it was a promotion for Starseed, because it's about meditation and transcendance.
Matt: Really? That's what Starseed is about? Seems too exciting to be about meditation...

Oh man, I was really hoping OLP would put together a song with the artistic merit of a Blink-182 song and have Jeremy do vocals and put Raine on drums. I guess choosing a good song would make more sense though.

My cousin back in MN said he used to hear Starseed on a Minnesota local-rock station ALL the time but never knew it was OLP until he heard me playing it in my car one day:
