Wow.

Today I found out that the daughter of one of my mom's friends killed herself on Monday.

She was only 10 years old.

Jeez... How does a ten year old get the idea and the motivation to kill themself?

Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

Yeah it was a pretty awful assignment .. actually the entire child abuse class I took was pretty depressing.

The 4 year old had been beaten, starved, locked in a cage and a closet etc. The child was left alone one day .. told the neighbor next door who saw her in the hallway she was "going to leave mommy and daddy because they didn't really love her, and go be with god because it's pretty there and the angels will take care of me" and then she went back inside and climbed off the balcony.

Didn't depress me. I already had a mental meltdown on Tuesday, so nothing effects me at all. I highly recommend completely losing your mind, it makes you feel better, or apathetic.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I have had a couple mental meltdowns, myself. You do feel so much better afterward.

Without you I'm as good as
dead ...

Yeah, I don't feel better as much as I feel unaffected. You know, I completely flipped out on Tuesday, and since then, I couldn't care less about anything. I finally got a job and I got to see Interpol live, yet here I am, not caring about how good things are. I am not sad, I just don't care.

I am working all weekend. Money coming out of my ass, but no partying for me. Oh well.
