It's gonna suck though cuz apparently they may have to change the actors .. after seeing Harry, Hermi and Ron with these actors, changing characters for the rest of the series would suck
This Harry is perfect
The actor that plays Draco said the 3rd movie was his last ...

I can't remember his name .. but they already cast him .. I wanted Ian from LOTR to do it but he turned it down .. at the time he was busy with XMen I believe but he would have been perfect .. though not as perfect as Richard Harris was

LMAO - Patrick Stewart would make such a funny Dumbledore! They'd have to get him an enormous wig. Joey, he's Captain Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation (and a lot of Star Trek movies, I think). I heard all kinds of rumors about the new Dumbledore, including Sean Connery!
*in "The Rock" voice* "Welcome to Hogwarts."
Anyway, the guy who's going to play Dumbledore is Sir Michael Gambon. In my view, he's never going to be able to replace Richard Harris, but the producers have done a decent job in recreating him (see http://i.imdb.com/Photos/Ss/0304141/C301-7.jpg).

Ohhh ... the bald guy from Star Trek?
With all the beard and robes it will be hard to really tell the difference .. but I loved the voice of Dumbledore/Richard Harris and thought it was perfect so that's where I'll probably be disappointed with the new Dumbledore but we'll see! New director for the 3rd HP too so I hope not too much is different!

Apparently, with a new director and actor, they're taking Dumbledore in a new direction. A bit more hippy-like I think.
By the way, I saw Patrick Stewart in a play once. He's an amazing actor, I'm sure he would have been good as Dumbledore. Maybe a different role in the future. They've used practically every name actor from England there is, so why not?

I actually thought that the movies were no where near as good as the books. and that Dumbledore was a huge let down. The chamber really lost something in that movie. its wasnt the same.
but thats just me. I am all about the books.
And they are getting darker and better as they go on. I mean in the order Harry was all angstie and angry, not really something little kids are going to understand very well.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

That's like all movies that are taken from books though .. I felt the same way with LOTR .. just too many details left out .. especially during the 2nd movie .. but still damn good .. I think the HP movies included a lot of detail from the books though .. that's just me. Especially since JK Rowling assisted in the script writing and everything had to be run by her first.
