Just wondering what do all of you use to help relieve your allergies? What's the best medication for it in your opinion?

honey, i wrote the book on allergies.

i am allergic to cats, dust, molds, and some plants. i have both year round and seasonal allergies. i have tried claritin, allegra, singulair, and currently take 2 zyrtec a day to keep my allergies semi-under control. a few times a week i take benadryl to calm my allergies and let myself sleep. benadryl is the shit. if i do not take any allergy medication, even for a day, i get hives for no reason, sneeze uncontrolably, my nose itches, my eyes itch and water, i get nasal passage irritation, and sometimes i have near athsma attacks.
my guess is that allergy shots are next on the list.

if no one else can feel your pain, i can.

I have the same alergies, cept add some food alergies like some sea foods, beef, oranges, and nuts, and then some more animals and grass. lol. And i take Reactin, like i said, give it a try. By the way it doesnt save me from alergies like foods, just like polen, dander, ect.

Hey, didnt they make a 'My Girl' two? How would that work if the kid died?

Only Anna Chlumsky came back. She had a different guy interest in the second, played by Austin O'Brien I believe...(The Kid from Last Action Hero) I'd have to look to be sure, but I'm lazy...

Ummm...I'm not sure what it was called and I'm too lazy to go look at the box but I think it was like the store brand version of Benhidril (sp).

I don't remember you ever being that bad when you were around me Steph.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

My allergies are really really bad and the best medication is called Chlor-Tripolon which you can get where all the other allergy meds are .. it works immediately and I feel fine with those ... otherwise I'd be a blubbering, sniffling mess

It's the same price as the other meds I was on ... plus it's 12 hour relief so one pack usually lasts me the entire time I have allergies (2 months or so) so spending that much once a year isn't all that bad.

I'm allergic to dust, grass (yes...grass. isnt that fun?)...dust, pollen, and cats....there is more but they are minor. My brilliant family decided to get a cat. As if my allergies wern't bad enough already.....Anyways since I have "allergy eyes" (which sounds extreamly lame) I take Benadryl but that doesnt work very fast...so I use eye drops to clear them up (like Visene)

and is it me or do we all sound like advertisments?

Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.
