Although a small venue at Memorial Hall, OLP rocked the house. Preceeded by powerful performances by Shinedown and Seether, OLP came on and did not disappoint. Here is the setlist:
1. All For You
2. Do You Like It?
3. Superman's Dead
4. Innocent
5. Wipe That Smile Off Your Face
6. Walking In Circles
7. The Birdman
8. Clumsy
9. Somewhere Out There
10. Starseed
I might be missing one in there, but I haven't finished putting the recording on my computer yet. I thought Duncan was taking a hiatus, but he was there, doing his duncan thing with the bass.
During a part of Walking In Circles, the band circled around Jeremy and were rocking out, oblivious to the crowd, it was great.
This performance of The Birdman was the most amazing I have ever seen. Raine was grabbing all up on Steve during the first parts of it and Steve had an AMAZING guitar solo. I was almost brought to tears, it was that great.
Raine, as usual, was climbing what little stage equipment he could find and during starseed he went out to the upper section and people came up and were shaking his hand and grabbing him and this one girl interrupted the song by almost yanking Raine off the balcony.
Security was lax to practically non-exisistant. I could have brought anything I wanted in my pockets and they weren't going to search me. I recorded Seether and OLP and wish I would have recorded Shinedown, they were great, reminded me a lot of Soundgarden. Seether was also great and they closed by covering Nirvana's, You Know You're Right and my new girlfriend caught one of Seether's drumsticks.
Sadly, most of the crowd did not fill in until 3 Doors Down was scheduled to play. The noise was much too long to even attempt to record 3DD. 3DD finished what was a great concert experience by blowing the top off the place and saving only Loser out of there big hits to play in an encore.
