That's obviously why you think Gravity is so deep and inspiring. It's just the only one simple enough for you to understand.

Or it could mean that the lyrics from the other albums might not have had meaning, but if you look hard enough you finally bring something out of it. Basically you can write down whatever the hell you want and someone... somewhere will think it makes since. I don't buy that.
It's like them saying "clothes are cool when you're dead".. the lyric will make absolutly no since, but someone go annalyze it to the point that they decided that Raine is talking about a kid that is trying to kill themselves.
Ever think just once Raine did that? Wrote something that didn't make since but ryhmed with the line before?
No, because it makes perfect sense once you understand it. Its not as blurry as that is. Do you know what im saying?
Yeah I can, for example in "Theif" when i first started listening to it I had no idea what the song was about. It had bits of meaning here and there, but it wasn't untill I realised that the "thief" was a tumor it made much more sense.
Also when you write metomorphically there is a tendancy to go off on tangents. Where bits and pieces will make since but they don't always go along with the theme of the song. Which is why it can be harder to write straight foreward because the song has to fit the pattern.
For example: "All For You" is a straight foreward song that doesn't fit the pattern. And the lyrics aren't that great. "Jack Karoeuc, on the Road and In My Head" yeah that particular lyric makes perfect since, but doesn't fit what I think is the theme of the song.
This is why I think Thief is such a great song, because Raine speaks both metomorphically and straight foreward. "There's a house built out in space" which refers to heaven while "But I can be some courage at the side of your bed, And I don't know what's happening and I can't pretend
But I can be your, be your" is very straight foreward but evokes a lot of emotion.
