I don't really think it was that big of a deal either, just a really big coincidence

ya it is coincidental but it's not like they're the Beatles or something... I mean if you ran into Lennon if he were still alive I would definately say that it would be worth all the ranting. I just wonder if people still remember that OLP is just a group of guys who play music...

Oh I know you were, I wasn't saying you were ranting, I would have made the same initial post had I of seen them. Don't worry it's not you I'm refering to :D

Oh I would post about it but some people on here are drooling over the fact they were actually seen in public as if they hide under a rock.

Ok, I wasn’t sure :)

and I don't think people were being entirely serious, I’m sure no one here would actually jump them, or at least I hope not

I met Jeremy and Raine and that was the highlight of 2003 for me.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?

Yes, but they are three very talents, beautiful guys in my favorite band.

I see what your saying, but in a situation like that, I would have most definitely taken advantage of my luck...

think about it...you NEVER get to see OLP when there aren't thousands of screaming people around trying to get a piece of them/autograph/anything...if that were me, I would have taken the opprotunity to speak to them outside of that situation, just to tell them how much their music has changed my life/something funny/wish them to have fun at the concert. I would look at it as a rare opprotunity to talk to my favourite band, one on one, with no one else mobbing them, giving you a chance to say what you always wanted to say and then let them be on their way. NO screaming, no drooling, hopefull just nice casual interaction from an adoring fan who wants to express their gratitude for the good music they have made/inspiration, etc.

Personally, if I was in the T.DOT, i would have told them the story of coming from Ottawa, speeding like MAD to make OLP, getting caught going 156km/h on the 100km/h highway, and having a court date in NAPANEE, ONTARIO (does it count if we were speeding to Avril?) :wtf: how funny is that? and by the way, i still only got there for starseed

SO ya, just a little interaction in that fantastic moment, no humping, etc. That's all I'm saying.

that would have been the highlight of my life. i mean, the closest i ever got to see them was at the one concert i've been to, and my seats were crap, it's not like i actually got to meet them. i'd probably just be :wtf: and not be able to get any words out. i'd be in shock i mean, i know they are just normal people but, it's not every day i see my favourite band a few metres away from me. :freak:

well it's not like I haven't met them before, and I've been really lucky to meet some of them in one on one situations more then once. So I guess I’ve told them all I’ve wanted to say but I would have loved to have talked to them again, but like I said it wasn’t a situation where you could have stood around and talked to them for like 5 or 10 minutes or anything, they were kinda rushing into the venue.

Yeah, I'd do the same thing. I've always wanted to talk to them about their music: where they got the inspiration to write from, what it feels like to be living their dream...stuff like that. They ARE just normal people, but it's hard not to be excited to see them since most of the time you only get to see them on TV.
