The weirdest thing just happened

Post by dream in japanese »

I just got home from a jay's game at the skydome (I had free tickets so I thought I'd go) anyways I usually take the subway to downtown toronto but today was such a nice day so I decided to take my car. I parked by the ACC cause the parking was cheaper so we just walked from the ACC to the skydome. Ok so we were so bored at the game that we left at 8:30 and walked back to my car. So we were walking by the ACC and Neil Young is playing there tonight so it was packed with people around. So we were walking down the side of the building and I saw a 3 guys come out of a cab. and I turned to my friend and I was like damn that guy looks so much like jeremy ....then I was like and his friend has that red plaid shirt that Raine wore on Saturday and then I was like wait... that is Jeremy and Raine and Duncan. The three of them were there for the Neil Young concert. It was the biggest coincidence ever that they just happened to be going into the venue as I was passing. It's was so weird, and I just passed right by them and didn't say anything cause I didn't think it was appropriate.... but damn how weird is that!

Hmm, I wonder if the guys were able to talk to Neil Young, since they did do that cover a few years back...

Wow...I can't believe you didn't say anything. You have a lot of self control. 8O I would have acted like a total teenybopper and yelled something stupid like "Raine, i'm having your love child!" But that's 'cause I'm a total geek.

random note on OLP that has nothing to do with this thread, the following was posted on MTV.com:

One way of combating competition and sticker shock is slashing prices. Major promoter Clear Channel has cut ticket prices to $10 in select markets for more than a dozen of its amphitheater shows, including Ozzfest ($40-$100), 50 Cent and Jay Z's Roc the Mic Tour ($29-$39), Aerosmith and Kiss ($47-$135), Godsmack, John Mayer and Counting Crows, Peter Gabriel, Our Lady Peace., according to spokesperson Pamela Fallon

since when are OLP headlining shows it makes it seem like they are the reason for not selling a lot of tix not 3 doors down.

wow...i don't know what i'd do..i probably wouldn't do anything either..not because it'd be inappropriate :freak: , cuz i'd be so astounded by the whole thing...

..or else i'd silently follow them, then they'd yell at me for that and i'd go home in a daze

i was in shock and they were kinda in a hurry to get into the venue so if I had said something it would have been quick and probably really dumb, so it was probably best that I left them alone.

They seemed so excited about the concert… I wonder where Steve was??

Am I the only one that doesn't think this was a big deal at all? I mean they're just people. They have lives just like the rest of us. Some of you are making them sound like a boy band with your teeny-bopper comments. Settle down, they're just 3 guys going to a concert, not that big of a deal.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
