I guess that is why i liked MFTMA so much but Lose You is still by far my favorite song. On this album "all at once", "turn of the century", "long way down" are my favorites

very true the lyrics just connect with my life... all at once really does it for with me, and one of my favorite songs is the intro, i wish it was a full song

anyone realize there is no number 13 on the back or in the booklet but on the cd player "so much work" is still 13 not 14. it confuses me :freak:

track 13 is like four seconds of silence
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

I just got it today, but so far I like what I hear... :)

I can't really make any comparisons yet, because I haven't gotten to listen to this one more, but like I said... I like it.

I just got this album last night and I beat all of you...$4.99 ant walmart!!! Anyway, I like it a lot. So far, not better than MFTMA, but I've only listened to it like 3 times. The songs that really stick out are Come Back Home, Carlos, and Burrito.

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...

Went to the show last night ... rooney was very good, and grandaddy was interesting with the videos they had playing behind them durring their set, but they took to long, Pete didn't come on till 1030 and it seem that he was rushing his show because of it... great show none the less, pete is amazing life, he opened with black just like the last time i saw him, it is a sweet opener and very good live, but the best song of the nite was either bandstand in the sky a song pete wrote for jeff buckley or it was Wanna be your boyfriend... I was disapointed that i didn't get to meet pete again because the concert didn't get over till midnight, and that he didn't play all at once and murray

here is the set list
Black
Carlos
For Nancy
Just Another
I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend
Undercover
Man In Uniform
June
Long Way Down
On Your Side
Closet
Come Back Home
Cyrstal Village
Strange Condition
Life On A Chain
Encore:
Bandstand In The Sky
She Bangs The Drums* (*Stone Roses cover)
Burrito
Simonize

Hey! I was at this show. I loved it. Where were you standing? I was 2nd row most of the night, then for the last couple of songs I was front row, off to the right.
