Capo, people here don't hate goverment in general, they hate the person running the government into the ground. I am sure all of us here, except for a few, find the government to be perfectly fine, it's just that people don't like how we're going to war. People don't want to be associated with a maniacal bastard looking to kill Arabs to complete what his daddy couldn't do.

Well, as long as BUSH thinks that terrorizm will stop in the long run as saddam is taken out of power (thru force or thru war) he will stop at nothing to take him down.

Bush is an alright president, its just I think he has let the whole idea of america being the world superpower get to his head and I believe he has become a little power hungry, however, it would be kinda nice for the USA to own the oil saddam possesses

People have the right to question the government, however, people do not have the right to overthrow it for the alternative, anarchy. Words are harmless, actions matter.

I am a man of science, I believe we should question everything until we find the true answer which can be used to explain why things happen with facts that people can see and feel and read. Questioning things is what I believe makes society grow, it helps people debate like this what is right and what is wrong. Although I personally do not believe in right and wrong, since there must be a unanamious vote on what is right and wrong, and since there isnt, there is no defined right and wrong.

All I can say about this war right now is arguing about it like this isnt going to make it NOT happen, it will happen unless saddam decides to step down from power.

If you really believe that our government should be questioned then maybe you should do something about it, organize a huge protest, become popular and get voted into office were you can make a difference, arguing about it in an online forum isnt going to make a difference.

I rest my case. Lets all go get some icecream

Welp, as I just said there is really nothing we can do about it. Just think of the good that will come from it, I know alot of death and destructin will come from this but you have to realize IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN.

We gave that right to the government to govern us as best as possible, and since the online polls on CNN showed that more people are FOR this war than AGAINST it I doubt you will be able to get enough people to overthrow our government.

You know what, you're right. People don't have to listen to the president, it is just the accepted thing that they do. People can choose to not be governed, but I just find that starting a revolution to destroy democracy is a little much.
