the song innocent depressed me.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

life is a good song, Innocent is a good song when its done live or acoustic... the album version though just sticks out like a sore thumb...

*bangs his forehead on the wall repeatedly*

our lady peace uses POP elements in ALL their songs making them somewhat POPPY. they are by no means a pop band, but they have written some pop songs.

I think any song they do sounds better live or acoustic though .. when comparing any album song to a live song I think most would prefer the live/acoustic version

Some songs though are obvious that they can't be done live, I think we've seen that over the years from OLP, I'm sure they try out every song and then figure out which ones just don't work or sound good live...

Depends on your definition of pop. :P
