The only good thing about my school is a bunch of NHL'ers went there, and a bunch of the Oshawa Generals (OHL team) still go there.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?

Steve Phillips, GM of the New York Mets, went to my high school.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

i go to my school.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

I live right by Port Huron high school, I'm in Marine City. After, Steve's third show ever, in Chicago, I got to meet him for my first time. All anybody knew about him at the time was that he was from Detroit, originally. Since I was raised on 8 mile, and lived there til I was 12, we started to chit chat about Michigan. He then said that he moved to Richmond, which is about 5 minutes from my house. I was like HOLY SHIT, I'M FROM MARINE CITY. Then Steve was like HOLY SHIT, I WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL AT MARINE CITY CARDINAL MOONEY. And we then proceded to talk about how boring the area is, lol. Some kid that I met up here at school actually took guitar lessons from Steve. I play guitar, A LOT of guitar, and it would be awesome if Steve came back to the area to play with some die hard fans.

Ahhh Cardinal Mooney, that's great. He was a sheltered Catholic boy just like me....lmao. Oh wow, that's just priceless. The best I can say is we talked about how we hated Roseville, where I live, and Rich Bitch Hills, where Steph lives.

Wow so far the only one in the band that isn't from a catholic school is Jeremy, Duncan and Raine both went to the same school
