Greenwheel

Post by xoNoDoubt69 »

Ok I was just wondering what everyones opinion is of Greenwheel. I think they are awesome. I saw for the first time last week when they were opening for OLP and got to meet them and talk to Ryan for a bit. They are very nice and i was pleasantly surprised by their performance. I now have their cd and shirt. The cd is great. Everyone should get it. :) Yeah i 'm just a tad obsessed at the moment :)

I lovelovelovelovelove them. they're amazing. I saw them open for OLP on July 14th, and loved them after I heard just one song.

I ended up seeing them again in September - headlining at a tiny venue - and it was AWESOME. since it was their first night without Doug, they did some of the songs acoustic :)

the random Jeff Buckley cover during The End was a nice touch, too.

olpcc - you have the indie cd?! I've been looking for that EVERYWHERE. O_O

do you make copies for a fair amount? heh.

I liked them for awhile, but it's not as if their music or anything they're saying is incredibly new or profound. They're doing the same stuff that's been done for five years, although they do it very well.

the part I enjoyed most when I saw them was their cover of Forty-Six & 2, and that's never a good thing for the longevity of a band.

I agree, Greenwheel is amazing live. For me, they were a great opener for Our Lady Peace and blew Audiovent away completely.

I saw greenwheel live twice and both times blew the roof off the place. I disagree about the CD though, I think it is just as grand.
