my fave song is Again I go Unnoticed
it's catchy and has an upbeat feel to it
great song
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

teelo wrote:Hey, I saw that too. I've seen 'screaming infidelities' and 'saints and sailors' I really like both songs.

Can anyone reccomend a song or two for me to download?
I'm mainly looking for a catchy song, not a meaningful deep one.
But if there is a song that has both, I will take it!

I don't think Chris has any shallow songs.

Dashboard Confessional are lovely. I looooove the song Saints and Sailors. It's so good. Nothing is more fun than being pissed off to Dashboard.

Actually there is. It's called being pissed off and listening to early Further Seems Forever. It's Chris Carrabba, but not acoustic.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Being pissed off and listening to DC is good, but Bright Eyes is even better. "If Winter Ends" is my pissed off song...

DC is more like, "I'm sad and depressed, so let's blare For You to Notice and cry."
HARDCORE!!!

OMG. I can't believe I din't think fo you

We all know (or should know) the best band to listen to when pissed off is Alkaline Trio. They have Bright Eyes/Dashboard-esque lyrics, but with fast, not depressing music. Yeah, trust me, their music alleviates bad moods and it's fucking awesome.

I saw Dash this past friday night for the 4th time. It was the best time yet, cause I got to meet the band. Chris Carraba is really nice and attractive in person. I got his autograph and he called me sweetheart ("you need a jacket, sweetheart").

Yeah, when I met him in June, he was the nicest guy ever. There was a crowd of people all trying to get a piece of him, and he just ignored them and talked to me for like 10 minutes. I got a couple of pictures with him. He's rather short too, but the nicest guy I've met, even nicer than Steve.

that's unpossible
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

I didn't think he was nicer than Steve. He was really nice...and short. Heheh. But Steve....Steve....Steve is awesome. I love Steve.
