You have excellent taste in music, man.

Putting OLP on a whole different platform that's exempt from the following statement, no one consistently writes lyrics that touch me more than Chris Carabba and Adam Duritz.

Did you get Summer's Kiss too? That's the only one I don't have yet, it was just released.

Make sure to listen to the So Impossible EP in order, and pay extra close attention to the lyrics.. it'll move you.

Isn't So Impossible a re-release of some of their older songs?
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

No.. the So Impossible songs haven't been released anywhere except for on that EP. Summer's Kiss is songs from the Swiss Army Romance that weren't put on the Places You Have Come to Fear the Most, that they wanted to try with a full band. Swiss Army Romance is just Chris and his acoustic.

WOO Dashboard. One of my favorite bands. I was lucky enough to catch a Chris Cabbara Guitar pick from the 89x B-Day bash. They rule. Almost as much as OLP...Ok they arent even close, but I still like them. They are going on tour soon.

I meant Summer's Kiss. I have their other 4 cds, and I just thought of So Impossible because of the "S" thing and the cd is sitting on top of my desk right by the computer. My bad, but

i haven't seen them but my friend has and she said she put it right up there with the first time we saw olp live. it's like a religious experience where everyone sings along.

did anyone see them unplugged last night on mtv2? i know they're already unplugged but i still watched it. it was really good. i thought chris was gonna cry a few times.

I missed it last night but had a friend tape it for me.

When he handed me the tape this morning he said, "The crowd singing along will drive you crazy."

I kinda had to laugh.. he doesn't know what a Dashboard concert is, really. He gives the music to you.

I dig that.

i knew that the crowd would sing along but i was shocked that they actually did because since it's a mtv things i was expecting to be lots of teeny bopper people there only for the one song. but to my suprise i think i only could spot 5 at the most. yayness for not be corrupted.
