Steve's guitar work in this track is as good as I've ever heard from him.... very moody stuff. Love the bass-line in the verse too.

With the success of Clumsy and the fact that OMA was a huge rock single there was a ton of hype with the Happiness.... release. I remember there were listening parties all over the country and they had the synched up radio show premiering the album.

That's tough. Clumsy was the first track that really opened them up to mainstream radio audience. That said, SD was a massive hit too... I think it spent something stupid like 5 weeks at #1 on the Muchmusic Countdown (which was unheard of at the time).

Why does OLP call themselves a performance-based band if they play the same sets for months at a time, only to switch it up by adding a song or two for a couple of months (then going back to the original set)? Just curious.

I hated the track when I first heard it...but I love the studio version of it. It seems like a lot of the OLP tracks have this special energy when they are being played live.. but then it kind of gets lost in the studio (see All You Did, Dreamland...etc). I only really have two complaints with this album.

1. I really wish they didn't release AYD as the lead single. It's such a poor representation of what this album is.

2. It's too damn short!!

Sweeet. Man those Amazon clips are killer. It's definitley a different record from anything we've heard before... but it's strong as hell in my opinion.
