Can't say that HIPT was one of my favorites. Lyrically, it was acceptable, I'm just not thrilled with the direction. While I'm a realist and know that they aren't going to produce another Spiritual Machines, I wouldn't mind seeing something with the raw energy of Naveed and the tempo of Gravity. It ...

My Disappearance and My Reappearance

For those that wondered where I've been (since I last visited on Mon Nov 10, 2003 6:19 pm), I've been otherwise occupied with school and Ebony. I wish I still had the time I once did to post on the CM, but priorities change, so for anyone who is interested, here is an update on my life and times ...

I'd hope it'd be Starseed .... great song, on a popular soundtrack, the most recognized OLP song around here besides Somewhere Out There, so I must hope for Starseed.

I found out about Our Lady Peace from my g/f at the time. Then my friend Jared reinforced that, I download (and then bought don't worry) all the albums and I've been hooked ever since. Our Lady Peace, mmmmmmmmm, to think I lived without there music.

If you are looking for some fiction, I'd suggest, John Case's book The Syndrome or any of his books really. I like his style, usually takes about 100 pages to pick up and then you find yourself reading it late at night to finish it up in a couple of days.

I think the most powerful part of Naveed is the repititions of "It's Gone" therefore overshadowing its intro. I think OMA's intro is the best. It gets you pumped up for a fast moving rock song. Starseed is tough competition, but gotta go with OMA.

I'm forced to agree, the article was poorly written and is majorly lacking in content to back up suppositions.
