THE VINES

Post by I AM ME »

any other fans? I bought Winning Days awhile back and loved it, so today i bought Highly Evolved. It's better then Winning Days, and i can honestly say these guys are one of my favorite new bands. I prefer them over the Strokes easily. It's crazy how his songs can go front crazy ass insane person....to the beatles.....to radiohead.

Any other fans?

I love craig and the Vines. I dont have Winning Days yet. But I'm okay with that. Highly Evovled is a great album. Autumn Shade is the best. I have to say that even though Outkast meant for Ms. Jackson to be a hip hop song, I liked the Vines cover, despite is lack of .... um... ya.
I saw a concert on tv. Who cares if he cant sing. I cant sing, but I have to do it, it comes along with playing guitar.

The newer cd is in the listening post at my school. . . I like Ride With Me but it gets played too much, and the first song on the cd is good, I don't know the name of it but it was stuck in my head all science class today. Them, Janet Jackson, and the O.C. themesong are the main things that get played, besides when people are fooling around.

If you liked Autumn Shade wait till you here Autumn Shade 2, or even better the amazing "Amnesia". It's almost Radiohead. There's lots of good stuff on there but i found it less aggressive then HE.

I absolutly love the Vines, they are definatly one of my favorite bands, my friend got me hooked, and i went to there concert in March. I was front row, i thought Craig sounded the same as he did on the cd. Except some of the time he sounded a little wierd. I personnaly like Winning days better then Highly evolved, but that's just me. Amnesia and autumn shade 2 are so good, i also like winning days and animal machine.

I like the Vines, but I prefer their slower stuff. Their I'm Only Sleeping cover was good too.

They're gonna be performing Ride on Rove tonight.

edit: They played Winning Days instead. no stage-smashing antics to report.

Ok, I'm dumb considering the first song on the cd is ride :freak:
The other song I like is responsible for almost killing the listening post. about half-way through it starts skipping crazily, so people were kicking it and two of the sides fell in. :uh: It's fixed now though.
And that has a lot to do with everything. . .

Yeah, my school is weird. We have a listening post and two computer labs, yet we also have broken windows, holes in the walls, and lead in the water.
