I have a confession to make.

I've never seen The Matrix in its entirety.

i will borrow it from someone on monday. I've seen the starting twice, but one i mannaged to fall asleep cause it was late, and one time I had a physics project to work on so had to stop watching.

I also have had it on cd since like while or right after it was in theatres but i dont like watching computer movies

most likely yes. I think one of my friends booked off dare-devil opening day, x-men opening day, the matrix, terminator 3 and hulk opening days.

tho only thing that really bothers me: if the machines made the matrix to store people, why would they put somebody in it who could control things?

my girlfriend gets to see it at the IMAX in Niagara Falls a day before it comes out. Her film class is getting a special screening so she'll see it before nearly everybody in the world... but of course I doubt this is the only special screening in the world... but still cool none-the-less
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

umm ya i guess so. i missed maybe 15 minutes of the explaining part near the begining. so, ya. why would they put a human in there who could control people if they dont want humans to have any power?

well (i'm reallllllllllly tired, so this might not make sense), i don't think the people were ever conscious of the agents or the matrix unless they had a reason to be (kind of like how at the beginning neo was always searching for the answers). so people like neo had to be controlled or else there would be a chance they could be freed. does that seem right?

hmm.... i meant why would they put a person inside with power (neo's ancester). I understand why there are agents
but i'm refering to the scene where morpheus is explaining everything to neo and he says something like: "when they made the matrix they left one human inside who could de whatever he wants. However he died many years ago, and we have been looking for his decentant ever since. He is beleived to be the One to lead us to victory."
why would the creators leave an enemy(human) inside with that much power?
