new finger eleven!

Post by theo »

three new f11 songs from the upcoming (possibly self-titled?) album thats set to be released in june have been leaked by the band. search for the following songs on kazaa(beware annoying swoosh sounds that are intended to prevent piracy and annoy you to all hell):

One Thing
Good Times
Panic Attack

They weren't leaked by the band... those songs are off samplers that apparently weren't supposed to be leaked at all.
But anyway, they're around.

it sounds like its a new direction for f11, it's still hard but not as hard as older stuff, sounds really good.

but damn those swooshing noises are annoying.

It's a definite change from older F11.

They aren't bad, but they aren't nearly as good as their previous work IMO.

Panic Attack is cool though.

"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month

That's what i've heard from various people.

Panic Attack is a harder song. Sounds a lot like their WWE song Slow Chemical

One Thing is a different sound for F11. It's almost all acoustic. Almost like a folk song.

And i can't describe what Good Times is like. It's just weird...

Does anyone know if any of those new songs were played at the OLP shows? I really liked the new F11 stuff I heard in Ottawa and Montreal.

And do we really have to wait until June for the new album? That's just not fair.

I went to an f11 show just after the Fear of the Trailer Park tour ended, and they played lots of new songs... like, 5 of them of something. I know Sad Exchange was one of them, and I think they played Panic Attack, but I'm not sure what the others were.
But anyway, since they played lots of new songs on that day, chances are they played one or two new ones on the Fear of the Trailer Park tour as well. I know they've been playing Sad Exchange a lot, so you probably at least heard that one.
