Re: Ranked: Naveed
Probably a common answer: Naveed. Denied is a really really close second, probably followed by Starseed and The Birdman. I also think I'm one of the few OLP fans who never really latched on to Hope. Very good song, but it just never clicked with me like the rest of the album.
Re: Ranked: Naveed
I never really liked Hope or Denied, until I heard the Live '95 versions, which are just amazing. Still, Naveed is the best track here, the end of the bridge (is gone, is gone) to this day gives me chills.dumbandjaded13 wrote:Probably a common answer: Naveed. I love Naveed a lot so I can see why it has a great chance at winning, but I went with Hope.
Re: Ranked: Naveed
I picked Starseed because it rocks so hard and it's an excellent closer in concert.
I could have chosen Supersatellite, Naveed or Dirty Walls. I love the energy & crescendo of Dirty Walls. Still very satisfied with my choice of Starseed.

Great album. This one really got me into OLP. I'll go with the title track on this one. I've kind of becoming a little sick of it, because I've overplayed it so much over the years. But this was my favorite OLP song for so long.

Yep, the "is gone" part seems so simple, but adds so much to the song.astute_99 wrote:I never really liked Hope or Denied, until I heard the Live '95 versions, which are just amazing. I overplayed it a bit trying to get the timing down on the guitar, so I had to stay away for a few months, but now I'm right back where I was with it, hahahaDriven wrote:Great album.
